This is a little writing tool to help business write their mission statement. Writing a mission statement is the beginning of your business and a must to establish your brand and image. It’s not a easy thing to do… believe me… I just used this little tool myself… and it took me hours… well, in between working anyway.
A mission statement is usually a two sentence summary of what you do, for who, how and what makes you different. It is important for any business, no matter how large or how small, to have a mission statement so that you can sum up your business’s purpose quickly. Even though your business can have many philosophies, think about what main traits you want your business to radiate; for instance traditional, edgy, modern, whimsical, fun, etc.
A strong mission statement will give your clients confidence in your company by making it clear what the focus of your business is. It can help you figure out what your business is or should be all about… and ultimately helping your designer what direction your brand needs to go. Your mission statement doesn’t have to include all of the elements below, but it helps to start by filling it all out, starting with more and then distilling it down into less.
