I had to opportunity to second shoot a wedding this weekend for one of my favorite design clients - Tiffiney. We had a blast and I’m so glad I finally got to meet Tiffiney, but I gotta say I’m pooped after all that work! When do I get to do it again?! Ha! So… check out some of my favorite images from Saturday’s wedding… okay, maybe there’s more than a few.

Leave it to me to figure out how to include typography in my photography!

my desk

Happy Friday! So week-one back at work has been interesting to say the least. I’ve jumped right into everything feet first and I am so happy to be working with some super cool new clients! And I am even more happy to report that I haven’t lost my creative juices. My desk on the other hand has lost a lot of it’s spaciousness. It now has something a little extra on it. Now… if I could just figure out how to grow an extra arm - I’d be a much better multi-tasker! Anyone have an extra arm laying around that I could borrow? I promise I’ll give it back eventually.

Weed

HaHa - Gotcha! It’s just an Opie update. Opie is growing like a weed (+2lb +2in ). He’s active, healthy and has one helluva pair of lungs. He’s keeping us very busy especially now that I’m back to work. I’m quickly getting the hang of “Mommy-Tasking” as one of my recent clients called it.

These are those lungs I was talkin’ about.

“Can you see me now?” These are the best swaddle blankets in the world! Check out these Miracle Blankets. Hmmm… they could use a prettier website, no?

Back in Business

Baby Opie and I have adjusted nicely to our routine and the time has come to unleash my creativity once again. I am officially back from maternity leave and taking on new projects. If you are currently on my waiting list please go ahead and do a little shopping and select your custom design package via the boutique. You will not be added to my official working list until you’ve made your purchase. Projects will begin in the order in which payments are received. Can’t wait to get started on all these great new projects!

The Birth Story

My husband was the official photographer at Opie’s birth. Yes - Professional Engineer turned Professional Photographer. I’ve just been able to go through the images from the hospital and I have to say - He did a fantastic job capturing the right moments! He documented everything and I mean EVERYTHING - From the Epidural to the Circumcision.

At the hospital and all hooked up.

Design Updates

June 2, 2008 – 12:50 pm

I’ve been neglecting showing some recent design work on the blog. I need to seriously update my portfolio on the web too. I have done so many logos this year already - it’s insane. And the waiting list that I will be starting in a couple of weeks is daunting - whew! Thank goodness we’ve started to fall into a routine with Baby Opie! So… I will be starting work back on June 16th. I already have a significant waiting list… logos, collateral, websites, blog customizations… you name it… it’s probably on my list!
