Better Late than Never

Opie goes to the beach

Well, it rained nearly our whole trip with the exception of the day we left so when Opie woke us up shortly after dawn and we looked out our hotel room to a glorious sunrise we jumped out of bed and headed to the beach (you can see it in my hair below, lol). All images shot with my handy little Canon SD800 point and shoot camera.

Glorious

It basically rained our whole trip, but the day we came home we woke up to a glorious sunrise. Pictures of Opie at the beach coming soon.

Two Little Monkeys

…jumping on the bed…

Meet Pam and Mike. I have to give  major props to Mike for being such a good sport as Pam and I made him do the silliest things and in some crazy hot weather. He even missed the Ryder Cup… poor, poor Mike. He really loves his bride-to-be!

I had to capture a few images of their fur-babies too! Meet Jack…

And Pearl Ann… whose safe spot, I found was on top of the dining room table… hehe. So Cute!

My little trip to the beach has proven to be very productive, although we haven’t actually set foot on the beach. I blame it on the weather, which did actually hold out for most of our e-session. Perhaps the skies will clear later today.

Note: I will be back in the office on Wednesday.

My Joolz

A package arrived on my front porch a few weeks ago with some fabulous joolz inside… joolz of my jewels actually. A baby gift made especially for me by one of my favorite clients - Jellie Joolz. Of course now all the grandparents must have one too. I think one of them might slip me a mickey and steal this one. Ha!

Published Love

I am so excited to announce that three of my logos were chosen to be published in the next LogoLounge Book, a well known logo book series, which graces the shelves of most designer’s bookcases. The three shown below were chosen out of over 33,000 logo submitted by designers from around the world.

Design for a Designer

It’s a rare thing to be asked to design for another designer and I was so flattered when one approached me to create a new website for her. I’ve just completed a new website and blog for fellow designer and one of my very best friends, Eva Talley. I was so honored that I got to be a part of the premier of her brand new brand. Believe it or not - this new site and brand have been in the making for over 9 months. Ha! That’s how long it took to grow my Opie. Sometimes good things are worth waiting for. Check out her new site and her new blog (So Forth and Etc). Thank you Eva for being such a great friend and wonderful (and patient) client.

P.S. If you are in need of some rockin’ holiday templates - check out Eva’s new Vintage Press Collection!!

First Meal

Mmmmm Yum!

And another one of his faces…

Raising the Rates

It’s that time of year… the time where I am so busy my head is spinning. So what do you do when you are this busy?? That’s right - raise those rates - my design rates that is. Along with new rates - there are some new collections, including the Brand New Love Collection. This new collection is a customizable collection that can be modified to suit many needs. It includes a brand consultation, business name and tagline brainstorming session, logo development, up to six additional design projects and 15% off additional ala carte projects. Cool, huh? Well I’m excited about it!

THE GOAL - Having fewer clients will mean having more time to spend with each client and really help them develop a unique brand and strong presence in their market. Be sure to check out the full design menu here.

Note: I am still updating the shopping cart so you won’t see custom design items or packages for a few more days.
