The season is upon us. I’m so excited! I love the holidays!! Just wanted to update my schedule and hours of operation for the holiday season…. cause I have a family and need to take time off just like everyone else. Plus it’s good to give my right brain a break every now and then… it’s a good thing in the over all scheme… for you… the clients. Trust me. Please update your calendars and keep in mind - we might not have access to email or phone messages and we will be truly taking a holiday. We will be returning all phone calls and emails during business hours.

I am honored to be the designer working to brand this fantastic, new, natural line of DVD / CD cases! And after today… proud to be working for such an honorable client… always patient and kind. The new Loktah website will be debuting soon… very, very soon. New case style will be introducing seasonally, but they are accepting custom orders.

UPDATE 2: It looks like a construction crew cut the fiber optic cables down the street. My whole neighborhood is without phone and internet. Ugh. They tell me service will be back in 2-24 hours. I am working but cannot send files. Thanks for your patience.

so … this is actually Ashley’s friend Eva Talley posting for her because she can’t 
no phone … no internet … no 3g network available on iphone so Ashley is completely disconnected today. at&t coming out between 1 and 5 but who knows when it will all be up and running. If you have tried to call, you have realized that you cannot leave a message so shoot her an email and when all the issues have been resolved she will call/email back.

The leaves are falling. The air is crisp. The colors are beautiful. I love the fall.
Playing in the leaves is always fun and games.

No Opie’s were harmed in the making of this blog post. 
A true product of my Brand New Love Package… Two ladies came to me back in August to help them create a new brand fit for two. New partners and “star” photographers, Jessi and Kristen came to me for help. They needed not only a new logo, but a new name… a new identity… a new brand. They had tossed around the idea of naming their new business “Red Star Photography” but no such domain name was available… an important thing to check on in this wide web world. We tossed around several ideas and settled on Stella, which in Italian means star… completely fitting, right?! This is just the first phase in many projects to come for this lovely new brand… I see great things on the horizon for these two ladies.
Opie’s first shoes arrived today and I couldn’t resist a photo op. I’m in love with his cute little Pedipeds. SO CUTE!!
Another amazing wedding (with Tiffiney)… and another pair of very sore legs. I mean WHOA sore legs. I must be getting old. A beautiful three story house that also came with a beautiful three story yard… mix in great weather, fantastic fall colors, a gorgeous sunset, one beautiful couple and a really hilarious southern wedding party… well let’s just say it was an interesting evening… one where even I was forced to boogie around the dance floor. Ha!
Lady luck must be on their side… there were ladies bugs everywhere!
This is gross and sweet at the same time. The groom built his bride a bed for a wedding gift and he cut his poor little finger right as he finished it.
This was one interesting bunch… I gotta tell ya!
No true Southern wedding is complete without at least one person wearing cowboy boots and a DJ that plays Sweet Home Alabama (even if your not in or from Alabama). Haha!
Light and Birdseed. If you can believe it… completely captured on accident. I love me some happy accidents!
